Custom waterfall dropping to the pool
Earth, water, and fire combine to create this truly one-of-a-kind landscape design. Each component of this design is a masterpiece on its own.
Make the focal point of your yard a stunning water feature
The homeowners desired a pool and waterfall that looked natural and blended well into their private wooded backyard. Upon entering, the 38-foot custom waterfall quickly draws your eye, spilling down to the fibreglass pool. A roughly 5,000-gallon custom reservoir was built and buried 12 feet underground into the hillside to make it appear that the waterfall flowed directly into the pool.
Incredible stonework throughout the property
Black Hills rustic flagstone span the entire walkway entrance. Running alongside the waterfall, large boulders were squared off and used as steps that provide safe and stylish access down to the pool deck. Surrounding the pool is a 1,130 square foot pool deck that was constructed using a combination of Bavarian Bristol Valley and brown Holland Premier pavers.
Soften the hardscape design
Various evergreens and flowering plants were added to soften the hardscape design. Evergreens, including baby gem buxus, white pine, spruce, and three cypress trees, were spread throughout the beds. Strategically placed flowers of purple and blue, accented by blooms of bright yellow, red and pink, add vibrancy to this sprawling garden.
Every detail matters
Intricate paver details throughout the property. A 1,130 square foot pool deck constructed using a combination of Bavarian Bristol Valley and brown Holland Premier pavers. Black Hills rustic flagstone span the entire walkway entrance and provide a stark contrast to the blacktop driveway.
A magnificent waterfall feature. A custom-designed waterfall with an illusion twist. To make it appear that the waterfall flowed directly into the pool, a custom reservoir was built and buried underground into the hillside.
Safety features. Split rail fencing was installed along the perimeter to contain the homeowner dog and for required safety reasons.
